Responsibilities:

You will be dealing with a portfolio of private clients, taking responsibility for their personal tax affairs.
Your portfolio will include a range of sole traders, partnerships and high net worth individuals across a range of sectors.

You will report directly to the tax partner and in addition to the preparation of personal tax returns and dealing with ongoing tax compliance work, you will have the opportunity to be involved with tax advisory as well as inheritance tax and probate work.

You will also play an active role in the growth and development of the private client offering at Landau Morley LLP.

About You:

You should be a tax professional with experience working with an accounting / tax practice in the United Kingdom with a strong, recent track record in personal tax

Ideally, you will have studied for the ATT or equivalent qualification, but we would not rule out candidates who are qualified by relevant experience.

You should have experience of the preparation of personal tax returns, income tax and capital gains tax computations and the preparation of unincorporated accounts. Experience in corporation tax matters will not be required.

You will need to have excellent communication skills to facilitate understanding between the client, team members and partners.

Experience with CCH (for personal tax) is essential.
