Audit senior

If you are an Audit Senior who is planning to develop your career with a professional, friendly and supportive firm which has embraced a dynamic working environment for their team, then we would love to hear from you.

Our audit team are seeking a talented senior who shares our values for quality client care, reliability and professionalism, and who is seeking a long-term move with a clear career progression, within a positive and collaborative working environment.

Landau Morley are a successful and reputable accountancy practice based in West London (situated two minutes’ walk from the Central Line station, Greenford) and we are undergoing continued growth and expansion with excellent prospects for the right professionals who are looking to further their careers in the profession.

The firm has embraced a dynamic working environment for the team and offers flexible working hours and hybrid working arrangements for the foreseeable future with an IT infrastructure facilitating this.

As we are based outside of central London, our team enjoy the benefit of not having lengthy commutes on the Underground to get to the office.

Responsibilities:

You will be involved with a mixed portfolio of corporate, non-corporate and charity clients, taking responsibility for audits, accounts preparation and taxation affairs and for the delivery of wider advisory project services.

Your work will be apportioned 75% for auditing and 25% for accounts preparation and you will, therefore, need to be confident in all aspects of the work and have kept yourself up to date with the latest developments in these areas.

About You:

You will be an auditor and accountant with professional experience working in an accounting practice in the United Kingdom.

Ideally, you will have studied, or be studying for AAT, ACA or ACCA qualifications, but we would also consider candidates who are qualified by relevant experience.

You should have experience of attending external audits and of working on accounts preparation assignments through to completion, and presenting audit files and completed accounts and tax computations.

You will have excellent communication skills to facilitate understanding between the client, team members and partners.

You should have a strong, recent track record in external audit and accounts preparation.

Experience with CCH (for accounts preparation) would be preferred.

If you are interested in this role, please email David Passey at drp@landaumorley.co.uk, attaching your CV.

In return for your talent and contributions we offer:

  • A competitive salary
  • Good career development with each team member working on an agreed progression plan
  • An excellent work-life balance with flexible hours of working
  • Hybrid working arrangements allowing home working for part of each week (when not working at client’s premises)
  • A modern office with continual investment made in the firm’s IT infrastructure
  • A location outside of central London allowing nearly all of our team the opportunity to avoid long commutes on the Underground when coming to the office
  • Working with a diverse range of clients across many sectors
  • Working within a friendly and collaborative team
  • Equal opportunity for everyone.
